Driving Directions
From New York City:
Take I-287 north to I-684 north . In Brewster get onto Route 22 north to Route 55 east to Route 7 north. Follow Route 7 all the way to Route 128 east where the road will take you down hill and through the famous Covered Bridge. Just follow Route 128 and when you see the Bear you are there. Take a right hand turn.
From Hartford:
Take Route 4 west all the way through Torrington and then Goshen to Cornwall where you will get to the intersection of Route 4 ,Route 43 & Route 128 west. Stay straight at that intersection with a red blinking light which will take you onto Route 128 west. Follow the road all the way into our bucolic Down Town West Cornwall. At the railroad Square sign take a left turn.
From New Haven:
Find your favorite route to Route 8 . Take Route 8 north and get of in Torrington onto Route 4 west which will take you all the way to Cornwall.At the red blinking light stay straight which will be Route 128 west. Follow the road all the way into West Cornwall . At the Railroad Square Sign take a left turn. When you see the Bear ( to your left) you are there.
From New York State :
Find your favorite way to CT Route 4 east . When you get to Cornwall Bridge take Route 7 north which will take you to Route 128 east . Cross the Covered Bridge . By the Railroad Square sign take a right turn. Look for the Bear.
From Massachusetts :
Either find our way on I-91south to Hartford where you will take I-84 west to Route 4 west-follow above directions from Hartford. or else find your way to Route7 south which you will follow to Route 128 east which you will get onto . There you cross the Covered Bridge. “When you see the Bear you are there!”

Saturday mornings 9-1 the Farm Market has Coffee and Baked Goods(May-October) The Wandering Moose one of our local eateries is open most part of the week for breakfast & lunch and later part of the week for dinner depending on the season. The Railroad Square Cafe is open Friday,Saturday & Sunday 9-3 o’clock .
